For this project, we were asked to design a collection for a fashion brand of our choice. I chose Laurence + Chico because they are based in my hometown Vancouver. They are also one of my favorite designers due to their eccentric, quirky, and theatrical aesthetics. The collection that I had designed is for Fall/ Winter 2021, and it was firstly inspired by mushrooms as they were a trending topic in several outlets such as culinary, fashion, and health. Then it evolved into a fashion monster inspired by the Japanese 1963 horror-film Matango - aka. Attack of the Mushroom People.
